Weather Proofing For Your Hair By balentine2 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have very coarse curly hair and recently have begun using a straightening iron to help make it easier to manage. This works really well, but when it is raining or even very humid my hair still tends to frizz.
I have used Frizz-Ease hair serum for many years, so when I discovered the Weather Works line of products by John Fieda Collections: Frizz-Ease I decided to give it a try. This line contains many products including shampoo and conditioner but my favorite is the Style Sealant Creme. After shampooing and conditioning, I just apply a small amount of creme to my towel dried hair and style as usual.
Since I have been using this creme my hair is better able to withstand the humidity and moisture in the air. The only time my hair actually frizzes anymore is if it gets wet. This allows my style to last longer so I don't have to straighten it as often.
The only negative I have with this creme is you have to be careful how much you use because if too much is used it will weigh down your hair. It took me a couple of tries to get the right amount for my hair but once I did it worked great.
If you have a problem with the frizzies, give this product a try. I think you will like the results.

I blow out my hair (it is curly also) and am always looking for a cheap product that works, I will definitely check this one out! Thanks!
My hair doesn't get frizzy with humidity, it just gets more COWLICKS! drives me nuts! wonder if this would help, though... I really love his RED line!
John Frieda makes some great little hair products and they work. Many of them are equal to or even better than some salon offerings, but at much less cost.
