Weber Charcoal Kettle Grill
By Georgia Sawhook onYears ago we always used a charcoal grill, then along came the gas grills and everyone wanted those because they were so easy and no mess with the charcoal and lighter fluid.Well, after years of having gas grills, I wanted another charcoal grill, so we went for the best.Weber.
I love the Weber grill because it not only has that great charcoal flavor, but it actually smokes the meat.Wow.. have a nice juicy hamber with a Weber and you know the difference. There's so much room on this grill I can cook plenty for my huge crew.We have 7 kids and 13 grandchildren and at any given time we can have at least 20 for a cookout (but usually more).
The coals heat evenly and keep hot longer. One time I went out to the patio at 9 p.m. after cooking earlier in the afternoon.I noticed that the grill was still pretty hot.I lifted the lid to see the coals were red and burning hot.So guess what I did!!I took a pizza from the freezer and put it on the grill covered it with the lid and there it was 15 minutes later, baked and cheese melted perfectly all ready to eat.Yep... it tasted a little smoky.. but yummy.GREAT grill.

We have always had a weber grill and use it when we get tired of our propane grill.
I love my Weber. Wouldn't trade it for a propane grill for anything. Like you, I love the steady consistent heat and the roomy grilling area. We add wood chips that we soak overnight. The cherry or applewood chips just fill the meats with such good flavor:)
I know weber makes a good grill. Thanks for the information.
We have a Weber gas grill, my husband's pride & possession. Got the green top andd MSU cover. He uses wood chips to get that nice smoky flavor so I don't miss the charcoal grill. I love your pizza idea, I will pass that story and and see if DH is up to it!!
Godfrey took the words right out of my mouth! I have heard of people making pizza on a grill, but it is something that I have never tried. I may have to do that this year.
We do not grill that much because we are vegetarian, although we love fresh corn on the cob off the grill :) I have heard of pizza being on the grill. I personally have never tried it. You just gave me an idea to try!
We have Weber grills too! Your's sounds great!! Like the other posters, I too have never heard of making pizza on a grill-what a great idea!!!
Weber charcoal grills are great. I got mine many, many years ago. It still looks brand new. Well worth the money.
LOL, I generally think out of the box, but don't think it would have occurred to me to use a grill for a pizza :0) Sounds like an excellent charcoal grill!
Grilled Pizza sounds so good! I have a little weber grill for several years and it has held up very well.
