The first time my husband came walking out of the bathroom with a wad of toilet paper by his nose is the day I purchased him his first nose hair trimmer. He tried to tell me he cut himself shaving but finally confessed that he had been trimming his little sprouts with my good and very sharp needlework scissors!

He was a little upset that we (that would be me and our 2 daughters) had mentioned that he needed a weed whacker not only for the lawn but also his nose. Guess we were a little hard on him.

That day I purchased him a Norelco brand nose trimmer. This is the third trimmer that I have purchased over the years. This is a Phillips Norelco nose and ear hair micro trimmer. My husband has never used it for his ears so I can't say how well it works there but it does a fantastic job on his nose.

The features of this trimmer are 1) It is water resistant which makes it great for cleaning 2) It is guaranteed not to pull the hair with the ultra sharp closed cutting system 3) It has a guard system to prevent accidental nicks and cuts (ouch!) 4) The handle has a nice soft grip to keep it from sliding in your hands 5) This trimmer included the AA battery needed to start using it immediately 6) Included are 2 eye brow trimming combs, which didn't come with the last one 7) A protective cap when not in use and a cleaning brush 8) It is a very nice size measuring only 5-1/4" in length and about an inch across

I have purchased the Norelco brand each time. It is reliable and always under the price of $15.00 so buying a new one every 4-5 years is not breaking the bank. My husband hasn't had any problems with the Norelco trimmer and recommends it to his friends. (Wonder what other things they talk about?) He did tell me to make sure and mention to you to trim your nose hair while standing closely in front of a mirror and wear your glasses if you have to!
