I got this from my Dad as a gift after my son was born. Leave it to Dad to get on my case about loosing all the baby fat I had going on! He sent it all the way from Hawaii.

I was pretty skeptical about this scale when I opened the box. It is made out of GLASS!! I thought to myselfIm going to fall right through this thing the first time I step on it! GLASS?? I had never heard of such a thing!

Well, it didnt break. In fact it is actually pretty heavy duty! The glass is about an inch thick. Now, I wouldnt want to drop it or anything but it IS stronger than I thought it would be! It is about 14 inches long by 13 inches wide. Thats just approximate because its contoured.

It is clear (glass) with chrome accents. The digital display panels is nice and large and the back light is a bright indigo blue which makes seeing the numbers easy. It takes 3 AAA batteries. You can set it with a switch found on the bottom to weigh in LBS or KGS. There are rubber feet that keeps it firmly in place...no slipping around.

Based on the weight this thing tells me I amI would like to tell you that it is WAY OFF. BUT its not. Its actually VERY accurate. I say this because when I get weighed at the doctors office, this scale gives me the same weight at home. Phooey and drat! LOL!

It is very easy to use; you just tap the top of the scale with your foot and the display panel lights up. You wait for it to display 00.00 then step on. It gives you your weight in about 2 seconds.

My husband set the scale down to hard one day (hes so rough!)And the back light hasnt worked since. Im kind of annoyed about thatI am hoping we can fix it some how but I am not sure thats going to happen! The scale and display works fineits just harder to see the numbers. (Maybe thats a good thing?!)

I really do like this scale. Not only because I believe it is accurate but it is also pretty sleek and modern looking. Because its clear/glassit has been very easy to match in my bathroom. I would recommend one of these to anyone looking for an accurate, easy to read, stylish bathroom scale.

As I said I got this as a gift. My Dad said they got it from Costco. I believe you can expect to pay anywhere from $29.99-79.99 for one of theseat least thats what I have seen them priced at online. It will vary by store and by style. Weight watchers makes a few different designs/styles of these Digital glass Scales. This is made by Conair Corporation for Weight WatchersI was a little confused about the brand.

Good to know that this is sturdy, I've seen glass scales and thought HMM I don't think so, lol, Nice to know they are safe to stand on, and not fall thru...lol

Interesting look. Seems like it would help the scale "disappear" into whatever decor you chose.
