Welcome to the future of DirectX 10

The 320-bit 8800gts is one of the cheapest top tier directx 10 graphics cards out to date.At the time of purchase it was the best affordable card.With the recent release of the 8800GT it is harder to reccomend the GTS as under many situations the 40 dollar cheaper GT can run better.That being said this graphics card can run nearly any game on the highest settings providing a good enough computer build.

The GTS can have up to a max resolution of 2500x1600, however most will find that in demanding games once you go past 1600x1200 with antialiasing your framerate will suffer severely.This card is still a great step up from any of the 7800 series, and is miles ahead of the 8600s.If you are in the market for a card and can find this card for cheaper then the 8800GT, or want to spend a bit more on the 640-bit version you cannot go wrong.
