Well-made athletic gear for bigger women

In general, I like Junonia's workout clothing, tailored for larger women. There aren't many brick-and-mortar stories where you can find workout gear for plus-sized women, so Junonia is really a godsend for the active lady who's on the big side.

My experience with these bike shorts is almost 100 percent positive, with two really minor complaints:

1) Junonia sizes tend to run a little large, so if you're between sizes, opt for the smaller of the two. These were just a tiny bit baggy on me.

2) Secondly, they call these "pewter," so I was expecting a dark gray color. They're actually a light blue-gray color. It's a fine color, just not what I was expecting from the name.

Overall, though, I really like these.They are sturdy and comfortable and breathe well.I have had these for almost two years and wear them to the gym or our biking on a regular basis, and they stand up to a lot of wear and tear. They also are easy to keep clean- you can machine wash and tumble dry.
