Wells Fargo Mortgage Refinance
By Jennifer Claerr onWe were living in a brand new Choice Home a few years back when the mortgage began to get out of control. With all the fees I had to pay, including escrow and interest, I could hardly make the payments. We decided to refinance, and the person we contacted to help us set us up with Wells Fargo.
Wells Fargo helped us to get our mortgage back under control. We had a lower interest rate and a lower payment. But what I liked most of all about Wells Fargo was that I didn't seem to be stuck with the messy financial statements, mortgage servicers and mortgage service fees that many companies charge. If there was a mortgage servicer, I never had to see them.I received very clear and concise statements which were dramatically easier to read than those of other companies. I was also able to sign up for online account access, which was very helpful.
I experienced only one problem with Wells Fargo. They mistakenly charged us too little for escrow, causing our second year's payments to be very high.I called them and they said since it was their fault they would portion the escrow over 12 months so that I could pay it.
Overall, I was so pleased with the company's overall quality of service that, after we sold our old house, I decided to go with them for the mortgage on our current home.Everything has gone smoothly and I haven't got a complaint.

We had Wells Fargo for about a year before we refinanced. I didn't think they were anything special, UNTIL i had to deal with First Horizon of Tennessee.
What a great transaction. And I'm glad to know that after they made a mistake they did their best to make up for it.
When transaction go well, we are very pleased.
