Wow! I was so excited when i first purchased this external harddrive. This is a good product when you need to find a balance in storage between your computer harddrive and a usb key. I needed portability, which although it is cumbersome compared to a usb key,500 gigabytes of storage is nothing to sneeze at.

It connects via usb for fast access.I reccommend organising your files on the drive at the beginning becuase it is so easy to just keep moving info over to it without thinking. The spindle speed is 7200rpm making any data transfer quick and easy. The MyBook is shaped like a book with a light on front to indicate power is on,or data is transferring.This sits easily on a desk just like an upright book,so it's perfect if you don't have much desk space.
