Westinghouse BR-30 Spotlight
By Rancosto onWestinghouse BR-30 Spotlight, also called reflector spotlight, is designed for indoor use as an interior decor enhancer. As said on the box, these lights are "ideal for track, recessed, and downlights." I have installed these as track lights in our new kitchen, right above the stove and kitchen counter so that we can avoid turning on big lights when we just need to fix a quick snack.
The lights are 65W, 120V. They are round, 3.75" in diameter, with inside frost finish. Each light will last for approximately 2000 hours, which I'd say is a good light life. Installation was not hard, and I made sure replacing the lights would be an easy job too.
Our kitchen track lights look very neat, my wife loves them. I plan to put in some in the living room as well.

Sounds neat. I need something like this when I remodel my kitchen.
I love track lights. Wish I had them in my kitchen! I love the idea of not having to turn on the "big" light all the time.
I have heard the people who say they hate track lighting, and I have heard people say they love it. I think it is about personal preference. I personally, think these sound like a great product. Thanks the sharing this information.
It sounds like a nice light for your kitchen. 2000 hours seems like a long life to me.
This is exactly what I am looking for. One question and sorry if it sounds stupid but how do these plug in? All track lighting I have seen requires wiring in the wall which I can not do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Gonna have to watch for these when we remodel the kitchen
These sound extremely handy and decorative.
