Wet n Wild Ultimate Cover Foundation

Reviewing: Wet N Wild Ultimate Cover Foundation, #852
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $2.00 USD

When I saw that my regular foundation makeup went up in price quite a bit, I decided to look for something cheaper. Wet n Wild Ultimate Cover was one of the cheapest, only around $2 for a 1 fl.oz. glass bottle, yet the description of it was very impressive. According to it, I would be getting a natural-looking, skin-tightening foundation enriched with Vitamins A and E, Eucalyptus oil, cucumber extract, and botanicals. I decided to check it out and purchased the Bare shade, #852.

I must say I did not like it at first. I was used to squeezy plastic tubes, and shaking this foundation out of a glass one proved to be rather annoying. The foundation itself appeared too thin, it would barely cover my skin, and it gave a cooling sensation that I was not sure about; after all, it's a foundation, not cream. However, when I happened to glance in the mirror some time after applying this foundation, I noticed how much better my face looked - my skin was very even and smooth. This foundation does tighten skin and visibly reduce pores! It is on the light side, as I said, but I have found that to be an advantage a well: yes, you get thin coverage, but it wil never look like you're wearing a mask. Instead, you achieve a very natural, smooth skin tone.

So I guess Wet n Wild Ultimate Cover is a keeper! I would still prefer a plastic tube though.

I've tried other Wet n Wild products but not their foundation-I'll have to give it a try!

I prefer barely there coverage whewn I bother to use foundation. I hate the plastered on look of so many of today's foundations. If it smooths and refines and covers those little imperfections naturally it's worth much more than its tiny $2.00 pricetag.
