What a cool product!

Recently I won a prize package from Tarte Cosmetics on their Twitter page. They asked a really challenging trivia question. Though no one got the exact answer, mine was the closest, so I won big time! When I was looking through everything, the packaging and concept of this appealed to me especially. I liked that it was dual-sided, 2 products in 1. Initially I misunderstood what the each side was for. I thought that one side was eyeshadow and the other was liquid liner. I thought that the eyeshadow would be in a complimentary shade to the liner, not the same color. I realized by reading the box (A good idea, right?) that yes, one side is liquid eyeliner and the other side is eyeshadow, but from what I gleaned from the directions it's more of a powder liner to be applied over the liquid once it's dried to create a long-lasting finish ("Sealing it"). The color I received was Plum which translates as a really pretty dark eggplant. It looks great on my brown eyes. I'm a fan! It retails on Sephora.com for $22. The selection is okay - not extensive; it comes in 4 colors (Black, brown, charcoal and plum).
