On a recent trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama, I wanted to buy a souvenir of one of the best vacations of my life. We had rented a house directly on the beach, and I had been through one of the most stressful times of my life, prior to our trip.

So when I found this wonderful angel, I was delighted. It would always remind me of my "heavenly" trip. The angel is manufactured by Enesco, and the line is called Foundations, designed by Karen Hahn. The angel has long brownish-blonde hair that appears to be blowing in the wind. In one hand, she has a bouquet of flowers, and on the other side of her body is a garland of white doves, with one resting in her open palm. It is absolutely breathtaking. The entire figurine is lightly dusted with glitter, and across the bottom of the angel it says, "May Your Unfailing Love Be My Comfort." That was such an appropriate message for me, as I needed comfort at that time more than I ever had in my life. God was reminding me that He was still there for me, and that He would never leave me.

I have since found these angels in outlet stores for much less, and I will write additional reviews on each one. This would make a lovely gift, or a beautiful household decoration.
