What Happens in Vegas is directed by Tim Vaughn and is written by Dana Fox . What Happens in Vegas stars Ashton Kutcher , Cameron Diaz, Rob Corddry, Lake Bell and Dennis Farina.

This story is about two people , Jack and Joy, who meet in Vegas. He has just been fired from his job by his father. She is suffering a broken heart. What they have in common is both seem to be lacking self esteem and need someone to believe in them. During a drunken night in Vegas they decide to get married. Getting a divorce is difficult since they hit the jackpot while in Vegas. The movie follows as the two try to get each other to forgo the money.

Overall, this movie starts out a little silly but it does get better as it goes and actually turns out to be a cute movie. I think the problem was that both the director and the writer seem to be fairly new in the moviemaking business.
