What Matters Most By WreathofBarbs on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

"What Matters Most Is How Well You Walk Through The Fire" is a poetry compilation by the late author/poet Charles Bukowski. What Matters Most is an excellent poetry compilation from the notoriously drunken poet. Compiling his more touching works with his rare, but excellent, sense of humor and dark outlooks on life. This book will keep you riding the waves of melancholy and utter despair up and down as you follow Bukowski's thoughts. I found it to be an excellent novel, for those who are new to poetry compilations or those who are seasoned veterans. I think the minimalistic writing style is extremely effective in both conveying every intended emotion and also quite capable of making the book seem like a very speedy read. I highly recommend it.
