The book What to Expect the First Year is a great resource of information that helps a lot in every aspect of the care of the baby. For me it was like a bible to take care of our newborn baby. My wife simply loves this book. It covers almost all, from the first day of your baby to one year. The breastfeeding section is excellent and the first month chapter was like having our own expert at home 24/7. The best of this book is that it tells the way things can be done, but letting it to our own decision. In other word the book doesnt speak to the parent like they dont know anything about it, the book is a great guide and makes us feel like we can do it right. The book has a very accessible first aid section that is excellent, is colored in gray and can be seen from the outside with the book closed. As a paramedic this is a very important section for me. Overall this is a most have book for first time parents that covers all the important questions that are very important to know.
