What Would Buddha Do? By May Monten on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a book of questions and answers, one per page. Some of the questions are very serious, like "What would Buddha do about death?" and some are more light-hearted, like "What would Buddha do while waiting in the snow for a taxi?" or "What would Buddha do in a boring job?"

The intent throughout is to apply Buddhism to contemporary problems, and explain it in a clear interesting way that can be understood by people who know little or nothing about Buddhism.

Each page has a question, a short relevant quotation from a Buddhist scripture, and a one- to three-paragraph answer.

It's a small book, both in size and in length -- only 130 pages. The layout is attractive. It would make a nice gift for someone who has some interest in Buddhism but not expert knowledge.
