This is one of the best epic fantasy books ever. The Dragon Reborn is the third book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. It's well written. I really am captivated by Robert Jordan's style and depth.

Rand Al'Thor has come to accept that he is indeed the Dragon Reborn. Now he must fulfill the Prophecy. Rand heads to Tear to claim Callandor, the Sword that is Not a Sword, a powerful artifact that only the Dragon Reborn can wield With it, Rand's power is magnified.

Mat Cauthon is taken to Tar Valon, so that he can be healed of the poison from the Dagger of Shaddar Logoth. Then they head to Tear.

The climax scene is an exciting battle between Rand and one of the Forsaken, Bel'al. Taking Callandor, Rand defeats the Forsaken. The Aiel, strong warriors from the wastelands, reveal themselves as the People of the Dragon, ready to support Rand.
