Wheeling West Virginia

I have been to Wheeling West Virginia on two short trips. One was with my wife and the other was with the whole family. The first time I visited my wife and I went to Capital Music Hall to a concert. Capital Music Hall is a very nice concert hall and people come from all over to go there. On that trip we stayed at the McLure House hotel in the older sections of Wheeling. There are many specialty stores in that section of town and some good restaurants. The second trip we took the kids and stayed at the Hampton Inn in the newer section of Wheeling. We then visited the Oglebay Festival of Lights at the Oglebay Park. It was very nice and is a major attraction during the holidays. There is a Cabela's store nearby that we visited during that trip too. Wheeling is also famous for all the casino's. We have enjoyed our little trips to Wheeling, it is a nice city, but I wouldn't plan to go there for an entire week or anything because there isn't that much to do.
