Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts is one of my all time favorite books. It can make you laugh and make you cry, it shows youno matter what the adversity you can overcome it if you have the will and the strength of mind and heart to do so. It can make you angry at times at the injustice some people have to endure because of other people's mistakes. It also teaches you that even if you choose to be different or odd in some peoples way of thinking that you can be happy and loved by many for just who and what you are. The determination ofNovalee Nation (which is a great name for the main character) gives you a sense of determination about your own life. It also lets you see that evil deeds and ways will never go unpunished no matter how long it takes. Easy to read, once you start you don't want to put it down.
