Reviewing: Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $13.00 USD

Although the packaging seems to be aimed at body builders and athletes, I use Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein to make Fruit Smoothies as a meal substitute.

.

According to Ann Louise Gittleman (author of The Fat Flush Plan), Whey Protein is abetter choice than Soy Protein powder for weight loss.

My favorite smoothie is made with frozen blueberries, cranberry water, flax seed oil, Stevia Plus (optional if you want it sweeter), and Body Fortress Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein. These are very tasty, and the Vanilla flavor is quite pleasant.

If you are organized and have all the ingredients, it only takes several minutes to prepare a smoothie and clean the blender. They are good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein is available at Walmart and is very reasonable in price. It is available in Vanilla and Chocolate flavors - the Vanilla works best for fruit smoothies. It also seems to be available at Target and Amazon (with Free Shipping over $25).

I like this whey protein. It is a good value and tastes good too!

Update On Aug 20, 2010: This is still my favorite whey protein powder.I wish I could still find the 5 lb containers, but the 2 lb containers are also a good value.

These types of smoothies are common in our home - my youngest enjoys them and I have found that they make great meal substitutes especially in summer. Thanks for the info

Frozen blueberries, cranberry water, flax seed oil (Barlean's Highest Lignan - tastes best), Stevia Plus. You need to mix most of the ingredients first, then add the Whey Protein and Blend well. These taste great!
