Which Dish Will You Chose ? By Steve Collier on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Which Dish is actually the better bargain when "Dish Network" and "Direct TV" both claim to have the better service or better programing package...Unless you've tried them both, its really hard to tell them apart... But I have tried them both, and in my opinion, "Dish Network" wins hands down !!! I really like their program packageing and inexpensive add-ons you may purchase after your initial contract... And every time I have a question or a problem with the system, their friendly staff always seems more than happy to help walk me through step by step explaining everything from billing to programming, even operations, with patience and expertise, no matter how simple or complicated my question may seem... I think more than anything, I was sold on their customer service more than anything... Hats off to you "Dish Network" !!! Keep up the good work !

I can't tell to much difference between the two. I just wish they would all lower their prices! lol
I know what you mean-great customer service is so important! I'm glad you're loving your Dish!
I've tried Direct TV and cable so far. But with Sudden Link cable's prices going up and up and their service quality steadily declining, perhaps I'll give Dish a try. Thanks for your opinion.
Also have dish network and i agree....
We had directv for a couple of years, but living in Florida with summer storms it was always out.
We have Direct TV right now and are not very impressed with there service, thanks for sharing.
I've never tried either service, though they are widely available here in Sacramento. I hate to say it, but I'm completely sold on fiberoptics for all communications. My total bundled price is $151. a month. That includes TV, phone and 10mps internet.
Sounds like we should have gotten this instead!
Thanks for shaing your opinion and what you have found with us, great help indeed.
