As a new mom, I do more than my fair share of laundry! One of the most expensive purchases we made pre-baby was this new high capacity, high efficiency washer. I chose the top-loader because I am constantly forgetting to put items into the laundry at the last minute and I wanted the option of loading them in later if needed. I LOVE this washer and how much it holds. You do have to purchase high efficiency laundry detergent but it's not much of a price difference from regular detergent and the machine uses a lot less. The only aspect of this machine that we don't like is that it spends so fast that it puts pants into a knot that I have to make sure to untangle before they get into the dryer or else I end up with origami for pants!
