We bought this refrigerator about a year and a half ago when our old refrigerator stopped working. We went to Lowes and looked through all the different brands and models they had and finally decided on this Whirlpool refrigerator for several reasons; the price was very affordable, we like the Whirlpool name, and it had all the features we wanted.

This is a very plain refrigerator . It has a textured white surface that is very easy to keep clean. It has 1 fixed shelf that holds the two vegetable drawers. It also has 4 adjustable shelves that are half the length of the fixed shelf. This is my favorite part of the refrigerator. I can adjust the shelves to accomodate whatever I want to place in the refrigerator. It also has another small drawer that fits under one of the shelves to hold meat.

The door has a full length self along the bottom of the door that is wide enough to hold gallon sized jugs. There are also 3 adustable half shelves. At the top of the door is a fixed half shelf as well as a dairy compartment with a clear door.

The freezer has two shelves in the door and one in the main compartment. We have the optional ice maker which really comes in handy.

It was very easy to install. My husband just had to run a plastic water line to our cold water line. I think it took him less than an hour to get the ice make attached and operating. It is very easy to clean. I usually just wipe it out with a damp rag. When it needs a full cleaning I remove the shelves and clean with warm soapy water. The shelves are made of glass so I have to let them come to room temperature before I can clean them with warm water or they could break.

I highly recommend this Whirlpool refrigerator. It has served us very well so far and hopefully will for a long time to come.
