Whisker City Catnip Bubbles By Dave Simmons on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A simple enough product, and one that there's many other brands of; a bottle of soap bubbles like you'd get the kids, but with a catnip scent to them. That's literally it, according to the ingredients: Water, soap, catnip oil.

Unfortunately, it's a bit naff. You know how when you blow regular bubbles, you get a huge stream of them cascading out? With these, you're lucky to get one, and a rather soggy one at that, which drops to the floor like a brick hurled out of the window, and then sits there sulkily for a few seconds.

Instead of the frenzied antics you'd expect, the cats seem thoroughly unimpressed with these. I suspect they sense the air of anticlimax and disappointment surrounding them. I'd seriously suggest either buying another brand of these, or even just regular bubbles without catnip; they seem to evoke as much response.
