Who Knew Cooking Could Be So Fun?!

I can honestly say I love my stove! I feel pampered and spoiled to be able to cook on this beauty! The thing I love most about my Jenn-air is the ability to grill whenever I want to. The stove has cartridges that allow me to interchange my radiant cook surface with my grilling parts. So I almost always have the grill set up on one side, and a two-burner radiant top on the other. On Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other special dinner occasions, I pop out the grilling parts, and in goes my other radiant two-burner cartridge so I have four burners for cooking a big meal.
Besides the grill, the next best feature of my Jenn-air is the downdraft fan system. It is awesome! It needs to be strong for the grilling aspect of things and I love having a powerful fan in my kitchen. That is something that has been lacking in my kitchen with other ranges Ive had.
The above mentioned features are what sold me on the Jenn-air, but it has so many other features that are simply a bonus:
Self Cleaning
Convection Cooking
Delay
Proofing
Meat Probe
Drying
Thaw and Serve
Two Timers
The control panel is programmable and easy to operate. There are many functions that Ive never even used, such as a setting for Favorites and Sabbath Mode.
In 40+ years of marriage, this is the most we have ever spent on a stove, but to me, it was absolutely worth every penny!
I've got this model too!!! have you tried dehydration? You just put it on convection on the lowest temp (there may be a button, I'm too lazy to go look) and crack the door. they even make a tray. you will not believe how good store bought grapes are if you make your own raisens out of them. Just try it once and you'll never buy raisens in the box again. I promise. You can do anything. We use convection for turkeys at xmas all the time. I love it. I can't say that I like the grill, in fact we are about to change out our gril to 2 more burners. I can't stand cleaning the drips. But not having that awful hood on top that has all that grease on it. LOVE IT!!! glad you got one!!! It is worth every dime.
I definitely would love this. The thought of being able to grill right on the stove top is awesome. It's a little pricey for me at the moment though.

For someone who loves to cook, this sounds wonderful. I HATE cooking, so a basic model is all I wanted. If it heats, I'll take it!
Wow, this sounds amazing, I love grilled food and have to broil most of the time since winters aren't conducive to grilling in this part of the country. Glad you are enjoying your new stove. A little out of my price range, maybe someday
