I think sometimes we lose quality in our family lives because we're to busy with work or school and we watch television rather than really spending some quality time with our family. Scrabble is a great way to spend time with your family! It's also great for all ages (ages 8 and up). If you have school-aged children, it can not only help them with their spelling, but with their vocabulary and arithmetic.

I have the deluxe version of Scrabble. I think this is a better deal because you get a turntable with it, which means when it's your turn, you can turn the board toward you and you can see everything right side up. The other really desirable feature that it has is that the tile blocks are inset so the tiles can't slide or be knocked over. There are a couple o more little "extras" in the deluxe version. You get a fabric bag with a drawstring for the tiles and you get some score pads.
