I purchased the book Who's who on Television at a local library sale. My main reason for buying the book was for reference purposes. It comes in real handy when we are having a family disagreement - over a tv stars name or age, and which film or programme they appeared in. Featured are fully illustrated guides with over 1,300 entries of tv and film stars within the uk. Included are actors, presenters, and film stars profiles - including dates of birth, and all their tv and film appearances. Just incase you've forgot what the stars look like but remember their name, there are photographs of everyone featured. The british channels on which all the stars appear are; The BBC, ITV Channel 4, and Satellite tv. I found this book very useful when i was studying on a Journalism course, and i had to produce written assignments on the subject of celebrities. Listing agents and companies are indexed, although some information may not still be valid.
