My daughter and her husband are staying with us for a few weeks until their house deal goes through. They brought their Wii with them which is also equipped with Wii Fit Plus. What fun! Everybody here really has fun with it.

The first thing that you do with your Mii (that is the little person you create to represent yourself as you play) is to test your balance. All you have to do is stand on the board and hold still and it measures your ability to equally distribute your weight. Then it shows you how you did so that if you need improvement, you will know what to adjust. That alone is fun and it's only the beginning.

There are a variety of things you are able to do with Wii Fit Plus - something for everybody. You can have your own personal trainer and do body strengthening and yoga, or you can take a spin on a bicycle and collect flags to earn points. There are dozens of other activities. Do you just want to stretch your muscles or do you want a full body workout and an aerobic workout while you're at it. You choose!

It is so cool how the remote and the nunchuk work as you move them and it registers on the screen. We have it hooked up to our 50" flatscreen and it's awesome.

I've never been much of one for video games, but the Wii has really taken them to a whole new level. The trouble with us getting to experience this while our kids are staying with us is that once they leave and take it with them we're going to have to go buy one of our own!
