Wii Play
By SandwichBender onWii Play is hard game to score because of what it is. It's a compilation of several mini-games and is more of a tech demo than an actual game. It costs $50, but it comes with a Wii Remote (normally $40) so when you break it down, it's just a $10 purchase. So is it worth it for that 10 bucks? Yes, yes it is.
The games here are all over the place in terms of style. Games like Pose Mii and Find Mii are terrible, offering just about zero fun. Then you have games like Laser Hockey and Shooting Range, which can be fun, and then you have Tanks!, which is really fun.
It's a mixed package, to say the least. However, if you're in the market for a new Wii Remote, I feel confident enough recommending a purchase of Wii Play, if nothing else than to give you multiplayer games to use that new Wii Remote.
