Wii Play By 4ty Games By 4tyGames on - Updated Sep 26, 2011
In all, Wii Play is not a bad deal. You get a Wii remote with the game which alone costs $39.99, so you get a game for $10 more. Wii Play is a collection of 9 minigames, which are fun in multiplayer but boring in single player. The single player challenges are too easy but competing against others in multiplayer adds a lot of fun and replay value. The minigames include a duck hunt style shooting range, find mii (find two miis that are alike), Pose Mii (use the remote to form particular formations of the miis on the screen), ping pong, laser hockey, cow race (ride on a cow to jump over gates and knock over scarecrows), billards, Tanks! (destroying other tanks, use the nunchuck controller for better controls), and fishing. None of these games have any real depth and controls for almost of all of the games are average to poor. Out of this compliation, Tanks! and billards are the two reasons to own this. Tanks! is a fun and challenging game that has great controls. Multiplayer features cooperative play as you destroy the AI tanks. This is were I had the most fun in the game. Find a friend or relative and play some Tanks! together! Billards feels like a Wii Sports game. The billards game is 9-Ball and features tight controls. I wish the billards game went more in depth though.
In all, for $50 you get a $40 remote with a $10 game. The games are shallow, but anyone will have fun with it. These games are a lot more fun with friends than playing these by yourself.
