Once I redeemed it in the shop channel, I was instantly credited with 2000 points, where I could then buy a virtual console game or the internet channel. Wii Points are definitely a necessity when it comes to the Wii. It is essential whenever you want to get virtual console games and the internet channel. I personally love this product. It is easy to buy, easy to redeem, and all-around just makes it easier to get new stuff for the Wii.
