Reviewing: Wii Resort
Purchased at: Target     Price: $50.00 USD

Since my family and I bought a second remote for the Wii, it has become more fun to play and we have been playing it everyday now. We have been getting quite the workout with Wii boxing and wanted to have more games to choose from so we decided to get the Wii Resort. We had heard great things about it. You need to have an attachment for the remote called the WiiMotion Plus to play these games. The game came with one of these but you will have to buy additional ones for about $20 if you have more than one player in the household. Most of the games can be played by sharing one remote but there are other games such as canoeing where each person will need a remote to play. There are 12 main games on the Wii Resort and they are: Swordplay (like Kendo), Wakeboarding, Frisbee, Archery, Basketball, Table Tennis, Golf, Bowling, Power Cruising (Jet Ski), Canoeing, Cycling, and Air Sports (include sky diving and flying an airplane). Each of these games has levels and mini games to unlock. At first, I was disappointed that it wasn't the workout I was expecting like Wii boxing but after playing the Canoe and Swordplay games I got pretty sweaty. The graphics are fantastic and the water sports have a relaxing quality to it due to the see-through quality of the water.I love that these games are fun for adults and they appeal to my 4 year old as well. It's another way for the family to spend time together.
