Honestly, before the Nintendo Wii I was very anti-video games. I just did not like them for a wide range of reasons. I played video games as a kid, so I have had some experience with them prior to the Wii.

We purchased the Nintendo Wii from Target the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2007 and let me tell you this system has changed the way I feel about video games. It turns out they can be fun and get you off the couch.

The Wii is totally interactive you really are up and moving around while playing the games. We really have enjoyed the Wii Sports that came with the console. We bowled at our New Year's Eve Party! It was so much fun!

So far we've had no issues with the console over heating or any of the other issues that people had when it was first released! My husband will play Wii games all day long if he can!
