Wii - Wii review

The Wii is, by all means, revolutionary. Even its freshly designed body is a far cray from the large, bulky, wired boxes of old. With a sleek, white body and color flashing LEDs, the Wii is by far the most aesthetic console to date. Beauty aside, the Wii functions just as well. The wiimotes, though take some getting used to, are a very clever ploy by Nintendo. The controllers slide perfectly into the palm with easily accesible buttons; they even come with a wrist strap for the kiddies. Therein also lies the problem. Nintendo's target market seems to be children from the ages of nine to fifteen. Thus any teenager or college student may find themselves bored of the Wii within days; or at least until they beat Zelda: Twilight Princess. As of now, the Wii's game selection is shoddy at best, but with games such as Super Smash Bros Brawl on the horizon, who knows? The selection may just improve.
