This is by far our favorite Disney resort to stay at. It is a Deluxe Resort on Disney property. We love the proximity to the Magic Kingdom and that you can take a boat to and from the Magic Kingdom from the Wilderness Lodge. The lobby itself is worth the stay there, it is simply breathtaking. We love the rooms, decor, theming, and outstanding customer service this resort has to offer. My kids love it because it is one of the few resorts that you can pay extra to have bunkbeds in, that is a big plus for us. The dining options there are wonderful with a great food court for grab and go, sit down casual restaraunt that is lots of fun: Whispering Canyon Cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a fancier restaraunt: Artist point that is open for lunch and dinner. The Wilderness Lodge also has child care options available for children ten and up and wonderful childrens activities. We love the pool there and my kids love the slide. We were lucky enough to be flag family for a day and got to go on the roof and raise the flags, what a memorable experience. I highly recommend you trying Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
