Will These Goggles Make Me Like Michael Phelps? By crunkyjens on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I lived at home my parents had a pool in our backyard that was big enough to do laps. Since watching all the fantastic swimming on this summer's olympics I realized how much I missed swimming since I've moved. My apartment has a pool and I decided that since I work nights, and get home around 6am, that would be the perfect time to swim some laps and have the pool to myself. I couldn't remember where I last had my goggles so I went to Sports Authority to get a new pair.

I decided on getting Speedo's Women's Hydrospex goggles. They are bright blue in color which I love because blue is my favorite color! They have a silver mirror finish, are hypo-allergenic, lenses are equipped with anti-fog and they also have UV protection. The goggles are also one simple piece, all attached together, with dual straps for added watertight comfort.

From my first swim with these goggles I knew I made the right purchase. I can swim about 10-15 laps before I needed to pull them off and wipe the insides out. I also never got any water inside of the goggles, they were great at being watertight!

Did some swimming this summer in a pool with heavy chlorine. I'm thinking goggles would help. I didn't used to care, but my eyes don't like it much these days.
