Wilson Prostaff Surge 5.1 By Lafawnduh on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased the Wilson Surge 5.1 about 2 years ago and I have used it ever since. This racquet is highly maneuverable with a moderate strung weight of about 10.6oz and a headlight rating of 6. I have found this racquet to be comparatively easier on the elbow than stiffer racquets in the wilson line and consequently more comfortable. As well, the head lightness is particularly helpful for one-handed backhands and maneuverability at net. I have found it easy to control spin and pace with this racquet, being able to keep up good rallies from the baseline while dictating direction as well. One fault of this racquet could be its lack of weight for more advanced players so I would recommend a thorough investigation of one's own preference. The colour scheme is awful, but if you're a fan of Ronald McDonald, this clash of colour is just the pattern for you.
