Wilton Helps Keep Chocolate Warm. By Dawn69 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I like to make and decorate chocolate. I have tons of molds and make character candies for the kids at the holidays. I usually use glass mugs to melt my chocolate because they proved to be the strongest as well as keep the chocolate warmer than a regular coffee mug. I still had to reheat the chocolate when I am working on a very large piece or a complicated piece. I like to do the large three d molds.

My favorite mold is full chess set with board. This takes a lot of chocolate and I need the chocolate to stay pliable for a while. I found these ceramic melting bowls at A, C. Moore but did not buy them because I thought they were too high. The glass mugs only cost me about twenty five cents at a yard sale. Well I well out yard saling last week and found this set of ceramic candy melting bowl from Wilton the person who owned they never used them. I paid $2.00 for them and went home and tried them out.

I can honestly say that these bowl a easy to handle even when they are filled with hot chocolate. They allow you to pour the chocolate right out of the bowl with little mess it needed. I also found that the chocolate stays warmer in these bowls than in my glass mugs.

I have to say if you love making chocolate and it does take time when you are coloring in all the people and different items on the mold. These two little ceramic bowls will be a great asset to you. I would recommend this for all who like to use chocolate in any way.
