I bought this measuring cup on a whim. I am always looking for ways to make life more simple and organized - especially in the kitchen. So, during one of my shopping trips, I spotted this Wilton Twist n Measure. Before buying it I imaged how it would alleviate the need for so many measuring cups and fit perfectly in my kitchen drawer. The basic ideas behind this measuring cup is that it combines 6 measuring cups into one. There is a peice on the bottom that you twist and with each click it moves the floor of the measuring cup from 1 cup all the way down to 1/8 of a cup.

The first time I used it for baking I realized it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The action of moving the measurment from bigger to smaller works great. But trying to move it from smaller to larger is impossible. When trying to do this, the measuring cup floor just pops right out or doesn't move at all.

As an avid baker, I think I will be sticking to 6 individual measuring cups as I have already thrown away this Wilton measuring cup.
