Windex Wipes Create More Work
By kalar onBecause we have only one bathroom in our house, the mirror endures a lot of abuse from toothpaste, handprints, and water splatters.I purchased Windex Wipes with the hope that I would remember to clean off the mirrors on a daily basis, to cut down on that goopy build up.With the convenience of using a wipe versus a bottle of glass cleaner and roll of paper towels. this seemed like an easy solution for a busy mom such as myself.Unfortunately, this product did not prove to be as convenient as advertising had hyped it to be.Several factors regarding the Windex Wipes were promising. They were adequately moistened to the point that one wipe could handle the entire bathroom mirror. The cleaner was effective at removing toothpaste and water spots, without the aid of my trusty fingernail to scrape with.Where this product failed was that, while after using the Windex Wipes, all of the spots and fingerprints were gone, the wipe left behind a trail of lint that was highly noticeable. The trail of lint required a towel or dry tissue to be run over the mirror before the job was complete. With that extra step, the convenience of a one-step mirror cleaning product was ruined, and my short love affair with Windex Wipes was over.
