This is a very sturdy oscillating fan, it is made to sit on the floor and has an adjustment on the back to raise it higher. There are four large buttons on the front for whatever speed you would like and of course the oscillating feature can be turned on and off on the very top of the fan. This fan is relatively quiet and doesn't take up too much space. I also like that it is white and tends to blend in to it's surroundings. The fan cover is very easy to move if you need to get at the fan blades for cleaning. Again, we have hd several different types of fans and this seems to move the most air, take up little room and I really like that it sits off the floor...especially with small children in the house!!
