Wok,I Don't Need No Stinking Wok. By Rodney Ray on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We were shopping specifically for a wok when we made this purchase. I thought we had down our homework but I guess we should have done a little more research. We bought this Wok because of the large size and known name brand, turns out it's just not that good. It just does not hold the heat that it should, I have honestly three times now started out to cook in the wok and ended up in the frying pan. The wok has a small heating element in the bottom and thin aluminum sides. The sides being thin is the biggest problem with maintaining proper heat. I have also noticed even with as little use as I have given this item even with its low heating abilities, it is starting to change shape somewhat. I wouldn't recommend this wok to anyone, I expected a lot more from a company as well know as West Bend.

West Bend had been around for a long while but I have found that thier products aren't always up to par.
