The Wolfgang Puck Bistro Immersion Blender/Chopper was purchased from smartbargains.com. I purchased this item after watching a demonstration on a shopping channel showing all the benefits of the immersion/blender chopper. The blender comes in a nice storage box which holds the Motor base, blending rod, attachment removal tool, blades and discs. The blender/chopper also comes a stand, mixing beaker, chopping bowl with a cover and blade. The unit works very well. I have used it to make smoothies with ease, I have made slushies with it using ice and koolaid and maxed potatoes. I have not had much success with the chopping bowl. I add my items and use the base but I never get a good enough speed to blend or chop any items so the chopping bowl does me no good. The clean up of the item is very quick. I usually fill the beaker with water and a little dish liquid and run it for a minute or two and the item is clean. I like this little item and would purchase it as a gift for someone.
