Having being a loyal and devoted fan of "My Pregnancy Journal" by the same authors, I bought "My Baby's Journal".

This spiral bound, journal follows the first year of your child's growth, development and discovery and allows new parents to remember every moment. I recommend buying this book before the new arrival to get accustomed to the pages as you may forget to fill it in in the first few days/ weeks whilst you adjust. Luckily, I was familiar having journalled my pregnancy so I was on the ball with this one too.

The journal has eight sectiions (preparing for you, the new arrival, early days,growing & changing, mealtimes, trips & outings, celebrations, your favourite things). The only downside of these sections is if you like me did the previous book, there are some overlaps. However, not enough that I didn't buy this one and even though "preparation" is overlapped, here you are more specific to the baby and child in question. The early days is probably my favourite section as it includes coming home, settling down, bathtime and the babies first night's sleeping times, hand and footprints etc. I am so lucky that I recoreded these as even though my daughter is only 11 months old, I can't believe she was ever that small or that she woke up and fed every two hours. Thanks to this book (and my Dad) who took photos to accompany sections, I have keepsakes and statements to remind me of coming home and her first bath.

This journal is a wonderful memento. I have enjoyed it so much that I have purchased it for several friends as gifts to enjoy.
