I purchased this mini cabinet to paint. It is unfinished wood. It is a cabinet that has doors that actualy open and it has shelves. It can be used to display tiny minature dish's and other things. The cabinet is beautiful and also has the display area on top that you can use for more minatures. You can see this product and others at www.donmechanic.com . This cabinet does have the knobs to open the doors and is made with wood only. It already has smooth surfaces and is ready to paint. There are many styles and designs to choose from. These do make wonderful gifts and are easy to prepare to give. There is no sanding required. I am very pleased with the prices and the variety. I will buy more of these. Now you can choose larger styles of unfinished wood, depending on what you would like to make. I was impressed because the doors really open and they can actualy be used, not just displayed. They have done the woodworking and I just add the paint and any other accents that I would like to. I have also purchased the wooden jewelry box's and also got excellent results. They were very easy to paint and came out with a nice smooth finish. I woud recommend these products. They were fun to work with. They are excellent for new crafters and also great for the more experienced crafters.
