Woodland Bird Bath By Mary60 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have one of those ugly white plastic bird baths in my garden. I was looking for something nicer, but couldn't afford what the garden stores were charging. At a garage sale, there were three of these brand new for $5.00 each. I bought one and my friends bought the other two. They were fully assembled, and ready for my garden. I should have purchased them all and gave them as gifts.
It is steel with a copper finish ( not copper), has a footed base for stability, measures 24"W x 31"H, and has a 6 quart capicity. The extra wide bowl and rim, make it easier for the birds to land on. Decorated with curly vines and birds, and a twig motif make for a nice piece as a focal point in your garden.
I just had to price at a garden store to see if i got a good deal. At the store they cost $99.95-I got a super deal. They were exactly the same in everyway. No way could i have bought this for that price. I'm happy with the cost i paid and it looks really nice in my garden.
Weather is getting nicer and i'm thinking garden time. The flowers are already in the stores, so i guess its not to early to put out the decorations. For sure the birds will like it..
The robins are out and i saw one drinking from this bird bath. Nice to see them back and using my new garden bird bath.
