Woodstock to Snoopy - Where's the Sun?

While our girls were growing up we all liked the lovable characters from Charles Schultz' Peanuts gang.Reading the comic strip in the paper was a daily ritual and to this day we still watch the holiday specials on TV.

My husband's favorite Peanuts character is everyone's favorite bird Woodstock, Snoopy's best friend.For his retirement he received this larger than life replica of Woodstock sunning himself on a wooden lounge chair.My husband always said that if anyone needed him they would find him by the pool on his lounge chair.That made this collectible figurine perfect for him!

Woodstock, wearing sporty sunglasses, is 7" long and 2-1/2" wide.The wooden lounge chair is 10-1/4" long x 5-1/2" wide x 7-1/2 tall.The chair sits on a pile of sand, rock and beach grass underneath.Made of stoneware our Woodstock comes out of storage each summer and sits on a side table in our family room looking out at the deck and pool.

Engraved into the back are the words Peanuts United Features Syndicate, Inc.It has felt circles on the bottom to prevent any damage to our furniture.This will always be one of my husband's favorite gifts and a collectible we like displaying year after year.It never fails to make us feel happy and smile!
