Being a recent transplant to Australia, this is the best present my husband could have ever brought home! Although I can read a map, you need a certain amount of general knowledge of the area. After getting this noe I just type and go from door to door. It is great. The touch screen makes it so easy. There are numerous options to choose from such as countries, different voices, and different maps. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering a GPS . My son is an avid baseball player and we travel alot, so this GPS get used extensively. The software is plug and play, and simple to use on your home computer. You just have to make your choices and it is loaded up for you. You can also browse points of interest around your destination. Very simple and highly recommended !!
