Wow Brace Yourself For This One By Joan Young on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you are used to Listerine mouthwash this toothpaste will probably not be a shock, but otherwise it may be just a bit too much to deal with.

I was recently without toothpaste at a conference, and someone gave me this sample size tube of Cool Mint Listerine Gel toothpaste. I used it a couple of times, but it's really more than I can deal with. I like the smooth texture of the gel toothpaste, but the taste is pure Listerine Mint. However, if you use that flavor of mouthwash it seems to me that having a toothpaste that wasn't a conflicting flavor would be a good thing. I'm not used to it, and it seemed to me as if the toothpaste was actually burning my tongue. I guess the good news is that I got to try a sample size rather than paying money to find this out.

The tube is plastic and is not easily punctured or damaged.

In small print it says that it's also a fluoride toothpaste with the active ingredient being sodium monofluorophosphate.

I had no idea they made toothpaste too. The flavor thing is what makes me less likely to try it..
