When I wanted my boyfriend to quit smoking, I tried EVERYTHING but nothing seemed to work. We even went to one of those silly hypnosis sessions to no avail.
However, one of my coworkers suggested we try the Habitrol Transdermal Nicotene Patch again, but this time, skipping step one, and starting with step 2.Of course, I am no medical guru or shaman of smoking cessation, but this seemed to do the trick.He did experience a little bit of insomnia while using the patch, but nothing too severe.
When you buy a stop smoking aid, the only thing to judge is "did the person stop smoking"?In my experience this product worked with flying colors, and I would reccomend it to anyone who has the technical skill requirred to peel off a sticker and slap it onto their shoulder.In two weeks my boyfriend stopped smoking, and I can attribut it all to the patch.
I also stopped smoking using the patch (and a support group). I know it doesn't work for everyone, but it worked great for me! I had been a heavy smoker, so I really needed to start with Step 1, which I did. It was still very hard to quit, but the patch took the edge off of the discomfort and helped keep my mood up.
